LAHORE : Seven Parties announce to contest local bodies election jointly against Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz in Punjab
According to the details, Pakistan People Party (PPP) , Pakistan Tehreek i Insaf (PTI) , Awaami Tehreek, Sunni Ittehaad Councel, Jamiat ulmae Islam , Majlis wahdat Muslimeen and Jamaat i Islami join hands against PMLN.
This was decided in a meeting at Mian Manzoor Wattoo’s Lahore Residence attended by the Leaders of all opposition political parties.
Talking to media after meeting, Oppotion parties also demanded resignation of election commission members.
Manzoor Wattoo said that punjab government has released funds just before elections, this is pre-poll rigging.
Liaquat Baloch demand Free and fair election commission for elections.
Choudary Muhammad Sarwar of PTI said that accountability should not be used as a weapon against certain groups only.
