PM Nawaz Sharif announces decrease in electricity prices

LAHORE : Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that they want to pass on benefit of decrease in Oil prices in International market to public, therefore power tariff will be cut by 2.19 rupees.


According to details, Prime Minister was talking to media, he said that current government has taken several decisions for national interests.
 He further said that Oil prices in international market are decreased, therefore electricity prices will be decreased due to less cost, Nepra will approves Rs2.19 per unit cut in power tariff. Rs. 2.14 Per Unit will also be decreased in previous bills in respect of Fuel adjustment.

Commenting on Economy, Premier said that Pakistan's economy is getting better, foreign rating agencies have changed Pakistan's rating from negative to stable.

We are also working to finish GAS shortage, TAPI Project will be completed in 4 years. added Nawaz Sharif
