ISLAMABAD : After the decision of Supreme court, Top government offices of the country including President House and Prime Minister House started using URDU language for documentation and way of communication among offices
According to details, Supreme Court of Pakistan has declared URDU as official language of the country. This was historic decision because English was the official language of Pakistan since independence, 1947.
Now, after supreme court verdict government offices started using urdu for documentation. First step is taken by President and PM Houses in this regard. Sign Boards in Islamabad which were previously in English are now being replaced by URDU.
Name plates outside the offices of different government officials are also being replaced by URDU instead of English language.
Pakistanis have welcome this decision of supreme court and termed it as historical decision.
